Storage and Transportation:
Containers shall be kept tightly closed and stored in shady, cool and dry warehouse with well ventilation. In addition, containers shall be kept away from fire and heat source, and protected from direct sunshine. Electric, ventilation and illumination devices shall be explosion-proof. Electrostatic discharge shall be prevented. The containers are sensitive to water and air. It is strictly forbidden to get the containers contact with water. Moisture and rain shall be prevented. Try to handle and store the containers in environment of inert gases. After being opened, the containers must be resealed and placed vertically to avoid leakage.
Emergency Treatment of Leakage:
In case of leakage, staff shall be evacuated to safe area. All fire and heat resources shall be removed and ventilation shall be ensured to prevent vapor concentration being accumulated to explosive range. Emergency processing staff shall use individual protective devices, wear filter or positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus to prevent vapor being breathed. Stop the leakage when it is safe enough, and avoid leaked substances getting into the drainage. Leaked substances shall be collected into a container other than rinsed with water.
Try to avoid collision of containers when transferring them. Containers shall be transported as per requirements of dangerous goods by means of road transportation or ship containers.
Application：
(1)Alkylating agent of methyl silicone, adopted for conversion and protection of functional group (as protecting group of alcohol, carboxylic acid, carbonyl compound, mercaptan and nitro compound);
(2)Adopted as polymerization initiator of positive ion;
(3) Adopted as Lewis acid catalyst;
(4) Participate in reactions of C-C bond formation and carbon chain growth with organic compounds.
